What is your favourite piece of art at Purity Bridge?

What was your best holiday in last 5-years?

Cuba last year. Havana was so eerily beautiful in a sort of crumbling down fashion. I’m pleased I got to see Cuba authentically before the Americans stamp their brands on it but equally I’m glad for the Cuban people as the standard of living is still very poor so it would be good to see things change for the better for them.

 

What do you like best about her job?

That I never stop learning. Not a day goes by when I don’t learn about a new medical term or cosmetic procedure. Also the variety of what is covered in the clinic here, one moment I’ll be speaking to someone about a chemical peel, then about the recovery time for removing wisdom teeth and the next phone call could be helping someone arrange the removal of a malignant lesion on their face.

 

If she could have any PB treatment, what would it be and why?

I’ve been fortunate enough already to have a threadlift on my entire face. It’s a fabulous alternative if you’re not quite ready for surgery. The difference is subtle yet noticeable but nobody can quite identify what you have had done – they just tell me I look fresher and younger. It’s also minimally invasive so I was able to go back to work the next day and hide any bruising with make-up. I would also love to see the difference chemical peels could make to my skin, having never had one before, so that will be next on the list. And after the summer when the winter days are looming and there is less need for SPF, I shall be starting the Obagi prescription skincare system. I want to improve the quality of my skin and reveal better looking skin but without removing my freckles as I’m quite attached to them so I shall be trialling the Obagi Nu-derm FX range.

 

What does she like in particular about working with Mr Coombes?

Mr Coombes has a great sense of humour; we all work incredibly hard and sometimes very long hours so a few giggles along the way make you want to do your very best for your boss! I also enjoy working with someone so skilled, respected and clever.

 

Is there anything else we should know about you?!

I’m going to Buckingham Palace soon to meet the Queen as my Dad has just been made a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List. I’m very proud!
