Ms Nora Nugent FRCS(Plast) has joined Purity Bridge where she offers an individually tailored modern plastic surgery practice. Nora graduated from medical school at University College Dublin and completed her specialist training in plastic surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. To further develop her clinical expertise and skills, she then undertook specialist fellowships in North America and Australia. Training in advanced burn critical care and burn surgery (acute and reconstructive) was undertaken during her fellowship at Shriners Hospitals for Children – Galveston, Texas. Prior to taking up her consultant post in the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead, Nora obtained additional subspecialty training in Australia completing a plastic surgery fellowship at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney which encompassed both aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery and reconstructive surgery (including microsurgery) and also a hand surgery fellowship with Victorian Hand Surgery Associates, Melbourne. This allows her to offer you a wide range of procedures across the spectrum of plastic surgery. She has experience in all areas of aesthetic surgery including breast, facial and abdominal surgery and strives to achieve a natural rejuvenated appearance for her patients. For some this may be a skin rejuvenation technique while for others surgery can be a better option. Nora Nugent is a fully qualified plastic surgeon with the FRCS (Plast) qualification and has specialist registration in plastic surgery with the General Medical Council. She is a member of BAPRAS and IAPS. Nora maintains a broad range of clinical interests within plastic surgery and regularly attends conferences within the specialty to keep up to date with evolving techniques and new developments in plastic surgery. She is also a member of multidisciplinary clinical groups overseeing the management of burns, skin cancer and lower limb injuries in the South East of England. While always looking for ways to improve the care she can provide, Nora will only offer new procedures once she is satisfied that they have been evaluated fully and offer a clear benefit to her patients.

Mr Chris Macdonald FRCS(Plast) is a consultant Plastic Surgeon who takes pride in always offering his patients the best possible care and providing results tailored to each individual.

Chris went to medical school in London and underwent Plastic Surgery training across the country including London, the South East and the Midlands. Throughout his career he has sought to improve patient outcomes and has numerous international presentations and publications in the world of Plastic Surgery. He undertook the competitive TIG fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery where he honed his skills and knowledge of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Chris has previously worked as a consultant in the Midlands where he built a successful and popular non-surgical and surgical aesthetic practice before returning to his roots in the South East.

For the NHS, Chris works at Queen Victoria Hospital (East Grinstead) and Brighton where he cares for patients with complex skin cancer or who have been through major trauma and need advanced surgical reconstruction. Outside of the NHS, Chris provides a wide range of options for patients seeking both reconstructive or aesthetic surgery of the face, breast and body.

Chris is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, is on the specialist register of the GMC for Plastic Surgery and is a member of both the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Surgeons (BAAPS) so you know that you will be in safe hands.

Mr Marc Pacifico MD FRCS(Plast) has been described as one of his generation’s rising stars in plastic surgery. His academic, surgical and practice achievements include, amongst others, coming top in the UK’s consultant level plastic surgery examinations (being awarded the Gold Medal), the publication of over 50 international peer-reviewed papers, being a regular invited speaker at conferences and the opening of his own private clinic, Purity Bridge, alongside his busy private surgical practice. He has built his reputation on a combination of a high level of surgical skill, his artistic eye and his holistic, friendly approach to patient care. His particular areas of interest include plastic surgery to the face and breast, as well as body contouring surgery. The look Marc aims to achieve is a natural, fresh look, in all areas of aesthetic surgery. Marc particularly focuses on the care his patients receive pre- and post-operatively, in order to optimize the outcome of surgery and provide all under his care with a smooth recovery after their procedure. Dr Belpassi MBBS BSc DRCOG MRCGP has 13 years of hands on clinical experience. Her background is in General Practice, and she brings a holistic approach to her aesthetics practice, believing that prevention and looking after what we already have is key to all aspects of medicine. She is passionate about helping people feel and look their best. Having already undergone extensive aesthetics training, she is currently doing her level 7 (Masters equivalent) in injectables with the Harley Academy. Dr Belpassi also has a keen interest in dermatology, and aside from her dermatological experience and training in General Practice, she has undergone further in depth training with her Level 7 diploma. In addition to this, she has had further specialist training with medical-grade skincare ranges including Obagi Medical, Neostrata and SkinBetter Science, as well as chemical peels and PEARL and LED laser training for skin rejuvenation.

Dr Roxy regularly attends conferences both nationally and internationally to keep up to date with the latest techniques in aesthetics and products available. She holds full registration with the General Medical Council, and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and British Medical Association.

Mary completed her nurse training at the Royal free Hospital in London and has over 20 years experience in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She was the head nurse for Plastic Surgery at Charing Cross Hospital for a number of years before moving to work overseas. Her aid work in Cambodia involved her developing a national curriculum for surgical nursing and she returns to Cambodia every couple of years to train their nurse teachers. She is committed to ensuring that you receive a high standard of individualised care, especially in the pre- and post-operative period and has specialist knowledge in wound care.  Mary is also a fully trained and accredited nurse injector for Botulinum toxin (Botox), and trained in Thermavein and customised facial peels. Her most recent other post has been working alongside Mr Pacifico and Ms Nugent  in the NHS at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead.

Corrie is a highly experienced nurse with over 25 years working in a variety of NHS & Private settings. These have included Medical, Outpatient and Emergency departments. She also has an assessor background and continues to regularly work with local Colleges for VRQ courses. She has gained a wealth of knowledge in major trauma, minor injuries, and a variety of chronic & acute medical, surgical, orthopedic, ENT and post op conditions which includes G.P phone advice.

Corrie has over 8 year’s experience in aesthetics and plastic surgery, working with both Mr. Pacifico & Ms. Nugent. She is a fully trained nurse injector for Botulinum toxin (Botox), trained in Thermavein, Facial peels, IPL laser and is experienced in both pre & post-operative care. She is dedicated to achieving a safe experience & exceptional patient journey at Purity Bridge.

Clare has been a clinical massage & MLD therapist since 2004, specialising in the lymphatic system. She is highly skilled, empathic and committed to deliver exemplary post-surgical aftercare for her clients. She has extensive experience working with many types of surgical recovery; oncology, orthopaedics, reconstructive and cosmetic.  From 2008-2011, she worked part-time as a complementary therapist in cancer services at University College London hospital, while studying a BSc (hons) Health Sciences; remedial massage & neuromuscular therapy. She then worked at Horder Healthcare and continued on to study an MSc in Complementary Medicine, which was completed in 2015. She was invited to present a poster of her dissertation about lymphoedema management at the British Lymphology Society (BLS) conference in the same year. Currently, alongside her private practice and working at Purity Bridge, Clare is also an MLD therapist at the Royal Marsden hospital. She is a member of MLDuk and spoke at their 2018 conference in May, about her use of ‘Lymphascial’ kinesiology taping to speed cosmetic post-surgical recovery.
