Numbing cream is applied to the treatment area, a gel is applied as a glide. then the SkinPen is passed over the skin.
You can expect your skin to be red the day of the treatment, this usually settles by the evening. You may have dry skin for a few days following your session, and results can be seen in as little as 4 weeks. The best results will start to show from 9 weeks onwards, when the new collagen starts to come through.
You can expect to feel a vibration sensation, with possible tingling discomfort in the more sensitive areas such as the upper lip.
