CONSULTANT PLASTIC SURGEONS
Marc Pacifico – MD FRCS(Plast)
Marc Pacifico MD FRCS(Plast) is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon and the Past President of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).
He is based in Tunbridge Wells, in the South East of the UK and is co-owner of the private independent clinic, Purity Bridge. He is particularly focussed on aesthetic surgery to the breast and face.
His academic, surgical and practice achievements include, amongst others, being awarded the Gold Medal in the FRCS(Plast) exam, the publication of over 50 international peer-reviewed papers, being a regular invited speaker at international conferences and being the co-director of Purity Bridge, a prestigious aesthetic clinic, alongside his busy private surgical practice.
Marc Pacifico is a fully accredited specialist in plastic surgery, and is on the Specialist Register in Plastic Surgery with the GMC. He is an International Editor of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, and is a member of BAPRAS and sits on the educational committee of ISAPS.
Nora Nugent – FRCSI (Plast)
Ms Nora Nugent is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon and co-owner/Director of Purity Bridge. Nora is the President of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and the European Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ESAPS). Nora specialises in aesthetic plastic surgery with a particular focus on facial and breast aesthetic surgery and labiaplasty. She has expertise in deep neck lifts, deep plane facelifts and complex aesthetic breast surgery such as tuberous breast and secondary breast implant surgery.
Nora Nugent is a fully accredited plastic surgeon holding specialist registration in plastic surgery with the General Medical Council in the UK as well as the Irish Medical Council. She holds Board Certification in all areas of cosmetic surgery with the Intercollegiate Cosmetic Surgery Board. Nora is an International Editor for Aesthetic Surgery Journal and a Section Editor and Global Ambassador for Aesthetic Surgery Journal Open Forum. She is Chair of BSI CH/403 Aesthetic Surgery & Aesthetic Non-Surgical Medical Services (British Standards Institute).
Nora is extensively published in the plastic surgery medical literature particularly in aesthetic plastic surgery. She is regularly invited to lecture at national and international meetings. She is a member of BAAPS, BAPRAS, ESAPS, ISAPS, IAPS, RSE and The Aesthetic Society. As well as recognition as a Top Doctor in the Tatler Beauty and Cosmetic Surgery Guide annually since 2020, she is also a member of The Beauty Triangle.

Benjamin Way, MA(oxon), BMBCh, MRCS, MSc, FRCS(plast)
Mr Benjamin Way is a fully accredited (board certified) consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon, on the GMC specialist register for plastic surgery.
He graduated as a doctor from the University of Oxford with degrees in physiological science (BA) and clinical medicine (BMBCh), before completing his surgical training in London at some of the UKs leading plastic surgery units, with postgraduate masters/doctoral research at the UCL Institute of Child Health at Great Ormond Street into craniofacial and scar biology. He has over 15 years of experience in managing reconstructive and aesthetic patients, leading to his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons – FRCS(plast), and consultant appointment at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead since 2023 where he specialises in melanoma, general skin cancer reconstruction, and lymphatic surgery.
He completed aesthetic fellowships at Purity Bridge in Tunbridge Wells (BAAPS appointed), the McIndoe Centre in East Grinstead and at Parkside Hospital, London. He offers patients all options of aesthetic surgery for the face, breast and body but has particular interest and experience in complex body contouring and breast uplift surgery, including secondary/revision cases, lipomodelling and abdominoplasty.
Mr Way is a regular speaker at national and international plastic surgery conferences, sits on the council of BAPRAS as the UK South East representative, and is a member of BAAPS. His central ethos (for which he has won prizes and praise from colleagues and patients throughout his career) is to invest the time required for excellent communication and a truly individualised approach to each and every patient he meets. There is no better way to produce outstanding results.
Chris Macdonald – FRCS(Plast)
Mr Chris Macdonald FRCS(Plast) is a consultant Plastic Surgeon who takes pride in always offering his patients the best possible care and providing results tailored to each individual.
Chris went to medical school in London and underwent Plastic Surgery training across the country including London, the South East and the Midlands. Throughout his career he has sought to improve patient outcomes and has numerous international presentations and publications in the world of Plastic Surgery. He undertook the competitive TIG fellowship in Aesthetic Surgery where he honed his skills and knowledge of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Chris has previously worked as a consultant in the Midlands where he built a successful and popular non-surgical and surgical aesthetic practice before returning to his roots in the South East.
For the NHS, Chris works at Queen Victoria Hospital (East Grinstead) and Brighton where he cares for patients with complex skin cancer or who have been through major trauma and need advanced surgical reconstruction. Outside of the NHS, Chris provides a wide range of options for patients seeking both reconstructive or aesthetic surgery of the face, breast and body.
Chris is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, is on the specialist register of the GMC for Plastic Surgery and is a member of both the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Surgeons (BAAPS) so you know that you will be in safe hands.
Victoria Teoh MBBS FRCS (Plast)
Miss Victoria Teoh MBBS FRCS (Plast) is a Consultant Plastic and Breast Surgeon based in Tunbridge Wells. She is among the small number of surgeons in the UK who are fully trained in both plastic surgery and breast surgery, offering a rare combination of expertise.
Victoria trained in leading plastic surgery units across the UK before completing her Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship at The London Clinic. Victoria is a fully accredited member of the Association of Breast Surgeons and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. She has received national and international awards for her research, is widely published, and is regularly invited to speak at major surgical conferences.
Her specialist focus is on breast aesthetic surgery, particularly breast reduction, breast implant removal, breast uplift, breast augmentation and gynaecomastia correction. Victoria was a recipient of the prestigious TopDoctors award 2024 for plastic surgery.
Victoria’s patients praise her on her communication and her attention to detail. She takes the time to listen carefully and understand her patients’ goals, in order to provide tailored advice and empower them to make the best decisions for their treatment.
AESTHETIC PHYSICIAN
Dr Roxy Belpassi – Aesthetic Physician
Dr Belpassi MBBS BSc DRCOG MRCGP has 13 years of hands on clinical experience. Her background is in General Practice, and she brings a holistic approach to her aesthetics practice, believing that prevention and looking after what we already have is key to all aspects of medicine. She is passionate about helping people feel and look their best. Having already undergone extensive aesthetics training, she is currently doing her level 7 (Masters equivalent) in injectables with the Harley Academy.Dr Belpassi also has a keen interest in dermatology, and aside from her dermatological experience and training in General Practice, she has undergone further in depth training with her Level 7 diploma. In addition to this, she has had further specialist training with medical-grade skincare ranges including Obagi Medical, Neostrata and SkinBetter Science, as well as chemical peels and PEARL and LED laser training for skin rejuvenation.
Dr Roxy regularly attends conferences both nationally and internationally to keep up to date with the latest techniques in aesthetics and products available. She holds full registration with the General Medical Council, and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and British Medical Association.
ClINICAL TEAM
Mary Chettiar – Specialist Nurse
Mary completed her nurse training at the Royal free Hospital in London and has over 20 years experience in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She was the head nurse for Plastic Surgery at Charing Cross Hospital for a number of years before moving to work overseas. Her aid work in Cambodia involved her developing a national curriculum for surgical nursing and she returns to Cambodia every couple of years to train their nurse teachers. She is committed to ensuring that you receive a high standard of individualised care, especially in the pre- and post-operative period and has specialist knowledge in wound care. Mary is also a fully trained and accredited nurse injector for Botulinum toxin (Botox), and trained in Thermavein and customised facial peels.
Her most recent other post has been working alongside Mr Pacifico and Ms Nugent in the NHS at Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead.
Corrie – Specialist Nurse
Corrie joined Purity Bridge in 2019, she is our Lead Specialist Nurse and infection control, laser & risk lead.
She has a Dip HE in Nursing , BSC in professional Nursing Practice. Corrie completed her training in 1996 in Essex. She has since worked in a wide variety of clinical settings & specialities. These have ranged from Accident & Emergency and acute medicine to plastic surgery & outpatients within the NHS & Private healthcare. As a result, she has trained in a wide variety of speciality courses, including tissue viability, accident & emergency pathways, aesthetic injectable therapies, laser & several teaching qualifications. She also continues to assess VRQ courses with a local College.
Emma – Senior Healthcare Assistant
Emma joined Purity Bridge in February 2022.
She has a NVQ level 3 health and social care and has been working within this field for over 15 years. She has cared for patients within their own homes, residential care, and private hospitals. She has also worked with many consultants with different specialties.
At Purity Bridge Emma’s role is to see patients before and after surgery for their pre and post op nurse appointments and then assisting in theatre.
Emma is a mum and a wife and enjoys spending time with her family, making memories outside of work.
Rebekah- Theatre Lead
Rebekah has been part of the Purity Bridge team since 2017. She is our Theatre Lead so you will most likely catch her in our Purity Bridge theatre suite.
After graduating in 1998, Rebekah has worked in operating theatres in Australia and the UK specialising in cardiothoracic surgery before joining Purity Bridge and focusing on plastic surgery.
Did you know Rebekah is from the land down under but now lives here in the UK with her family.
Bob- Specialist Nurse
Bob has worked at Purity Bridge since June 2021 and is our resident ODA. He qualified in 1979.
His role is to assist the Anaesthetist putting the patients to sleep, assisting our surgeons during surgical procedures and waking the patients up in recovery.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and doing some gardening.
Bob was a Policeman in the RAF (known as a snowdrop) in 1980 then following a refresher course became an ODA until he left in 1995. He also served in the Gulf war 1990/1, stationed in Cyprus.
MLD THERAPIST
Clare – Clinical Massage & Manual lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
Clare joined Purity Bridge in 2017 as our resident Manual Lymphatic Drainage and post-surgical therapist.She has a BSc (hons) Health sciences: Remedial Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy
MSc Complementary medicine, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Vodder, Casley Smith and Fluoroscopy Guided), Advanced Lymphoedema Management and is a Specialist Lipoedema Management.
Outside of work she likes to write academic articles, attend and speak at conferences and work with Lipoedema UK, as their Clinical Therapy Advisor.
TEAM
Julia – Clinic Manager
Julia qualified as an Operating Department Practitioner in 2006. She started out working in the NHS and after 5 years she then moved to the private sector.
She worked with a variety of surgical specialities in the operating theatre environment, including plastic surgery. After completing the mentorship programme in 2012, Julia re-introduced students into the workplace and was the link between the hospital and university for a number of years.
Julia has worked alongside Mr Pacifico for many years and was mentored by him when undertaking her Surgical First Assistant role in 2018. In 2021 Julia joined Purity Bridge as the Theatre Manger where, with the help of her team she set up and opened our operating theatre.
In September 2022 Julia then took on the role of Clinic Manager, she still enjoys working in theatre when she can, she finds this is the most rewarding part of her job. Julia really enjoys being able to give one to one care and build a rapport with the patients as well as seeing them when they come back to clinic after a month or so.
In her free time Julia loves to travel and spend time with her family.
Claire – Practice Manager to Ms Nora Nugent
Clare has worked with Ms. Nugent since 2012, initially in the NHS as Nora’s secretary, then part NHS and part private and eventually covering her private practice only. Clare leads Ms. Nugent’s administrative team and she deals with all forms of patient contact, administration and accounts. Outside work she shares 3 ponies and 2 labradors with her daughter and 2 granddaughters, which takes up most of her time but keeps her out of mischief. She likes to read and keep up with friends and loves to dance, usually in the kitchen, but can be seen at the occasional concert or festival.
Beth – Medical Secretary
Beth joined Purity Bridge in March 2024 and provides secretarial support to Mr Pacifico. She helps guide patients through the different elements of their surgical journey, from quotations to scheduling necessary pre- and post-operative appointments.
When she’s not in the clinic, she loves travelling with her young family. She is an ex-magazine journalist too, so can also often be found writing or editing copy for a range of clients.
Leila – Front of House
Leila joined Purity Bridge in September 2021, she is part of the friendly front of house team.
She takes surgical patients through their journey from quotation to booking and post operative appointments.
Having never worked in the industry prior to joining the team, she thoroughly enjoys the chance to learn more about it each day.
Leila likes to stay active, going to the gym and spending time with her husband, two boys and dog Harlow. She also runs her own successful candle company; you may have smelt her lovely diffusers around the clinic!
Sophie- Clinic Coordinator
Sophie is our Clinic Coordinator here at Purity Bridge, guiding our surgical and non-surgical patients through the early stages of their journey. Sophie provides both existing and prospective patients with a wealth of information to ensure they feel ready for their consultation or treatment.
Outside of the clinic, Sophie likes to practice Yoga and Pilates, and cherishes time with her loved ones.
Lauren- Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN) Lead and Secretary
Lauren joined Purity Bridge in September 2023 as a member of the front of house team. While she can still be found welcoming our patients from time to time, she now primarily works as the Private Healthcare Information Network (PHIN) Lead and as secretary to Mr Ben Way.
With a strong background in customer service and experience within the aesthetic industry, Lauren is dedicated to providing a friendly, reassuring, and seamless patient experience. She loves being part of each patient’s journey and takes great satisfaction in witnessing their transformation and growing confidence.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys making memories with her partner, family, friends, and her much‑loved dog, Luna.
Lucy – Medical Secretary
Lucy joined Purity Bridge in 2018, as a Medical Secretary for Ms Nora Nugent. She has a highly experienced background in private healthcare ranging from (P.A) personal assistant, to medical secretary and customer services for many years. Lucy will help with any first enquiries/queries you may have in the lead up to booking your consultation through to your surgery or treatment. Lucy leads on financial quotations and surgery scheduling.
Outside of work, Lucy enjoys Body Pump, Spin and Circuit Training classes at her local gym. She also loves walking her dog Dylan on the Ashdown Forest and Eastbourne Beach as well as motorbike touring with husband on their Ducati motorbike.
Louise – Front of House
Louise is likely to be one of the first friendly faces you’ll see behind the desk at Purity Bridge!
As a passionate people person, her goal is to make your clinic journey as smooth, seamless and positive as possible.
Having been bitten by the travel bug whilst working in the States as a Beauty Therapist, Louise honed her unique blend of customer service skills flying the skies for many years as a British Airways First Class Purser. After hanging up her wings following the pandemic, Louise joined the Purity Bridge team at the end of 2021.
In her spare time, Louise is a qualified Interior Designer, self-confessed gym bunny and animal adopter!
Millie- Clerk
Millie joined the Purity Bridge team in April 2022. She is responsible for dealing with stock which includes doing stock orders, putting together instruments needed for procedures and keeping the stock room fully stocked. Millie also deals with admin tasks like keeping patient files up to date with any notes and uploading test results.
Outside of work she is currently completing a course in interior design and spends her free time going out with friends and going on long runs in the countryside.
Anna- Patient Coordinator
Anna is one of our Patient Coordinator’s at Purity Bridge, where she supports both surgical and non-surgical patients through the early stages of their journey. Her role involves providing comprehensive information and guidance to ensure every patient—whether new or returning—feels confident and well-prepared for their consultation or treatment.
Her background is in healthcare administration, having previously worked in a Radiology Department. She joined the Purity Bridge team in June 2025 and has loved being part of such a dedicated and caring environment.
Outside of work, she is a full-time mum to her teenage son. She is passionate about running and regularly take part in charity races. She also competes in K9 cross events with my boxer dog, Millie, and she’s even won medals together!
