Wednesday 9th September – RELAX dental implant evening (for dentists)

 Once again we are hosting an evening for local dentists who want to find out more about dental implants. This evening is not only of benefit to novices in dental implants, but also to the more experienced. Our multi-disciplinary team including Dr Dan Bateman, dental implantologist and Mr Darryl Coombes, Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon will be on hand to discuss approaches to implants, difficult cases and anything else you would like to raise.

The RELAX evenings are specifically designed to develop referral pathways that are mutually beneficial to your practices – whereby any implants you would like us to fit are performed at Purity Bridge, but the patient pathway is then directed back to you for crown fitting and further management.

 

Wednesday 16th September – Plastic Surgery for Beauty Therapists evening

 We are delighted to be hosting an informal evening for those in the beauty industry – beauty therapists, hairdressers, make up artists and all! We will be holding an interactive Q&A evening based on different areas of plastic surgery – surgical and non-surgical. It is an opportunity to ask all those questions you’ve wondered about, explode some of the myths out there, and give you the confidence to interact with your clients who might bring up the topic of plastic surgery. Please join us for this informative and lively evening in September.

 

Wednesday 7th October – Oral Health evening (for dentists)

 Mr Darryl Coombes, Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon, will be hosting an evening focussing on facial pain and TMJ problems. These vexing problems for dentists and maxillofacial surgeons alike can be difficult to diagnose and treat. Mr Coombes shares his experience and tips for management of these cases.

 

Wednesday 14th October – Breast Health evening

 Our Annual Breast Health evening held in Breast Awareness months is always popular. The Purity Bridge Consultant Plastic Surgeons, Marc Pacifico and Nora Nugent will once again be joined by Consultant Breast Surgeon, Mr Haresh Devalia. This evening focuses on breast health, breast examination, as well as the array of breast procedures that are performed nowadays. We cover breast cancer procedures, breast reconstruction, post-pregnancy breast restoration procedures as well as nipple procedures.

The highlight of this evening is our lovely volunteer who undergoes a live breast examination by Mr Devalia, in order to demonstrate how to properly check you breasts.
