We appreciate we are going on about it rather a lot, but with good reason…our Limelight IPL (intense pulsed light) has become a hit with our patients eager to subtly improve their skin complexion – both on their face and their hands.
Specifically, it targets the reds and browns in the skin, resulting in a more even skin tone with fewer visible blemishes.
No anaesthetic is needed for the treatment, which takes between 30 and 45-minutes, depending on the size of the area treated. Everyone’s skin is, of course, different, so the number of treatments varies from a single treatment to a course of three. We appreciate the difficulty beforehand of knowing how many treatments you will need, so have priced the treatments accordingly – if you need a third treatment, it will be at half price!
The winter is the ideal time to be considering facial skin treatments, as most facial skin treatments are best kept out of direct sunlight, so there is little to worry about in the UK! Nevertheless, as the skin can be sensitised to UV light, even in the cloudy UK winters, we recommend you used a daily moisturiser with a good SpF incorporated – ideally of at least factor 30.
